Ingredients
- 1-2 bulbs garlic
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- Foil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450.
- Cut off the tops of the garlic bulbs so the cloves are exposed.
- Place garlic bulb onto a square of foil. If you are trying to save calories, bring the edges of the foil together and seal. If you want deep brown roasted tops, drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil over the top of the garlic cloves then seal in foil.
- Roast on cookie sheet or on oven rack for 45 minutes.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes then using a paper towel, squeeze the roasted garlic into a small ramekin or into your favorite dish.
