Rice of any kind is a great staple in a kitchen and how you prepare it can bring a little or a lot of flavor. This mango tea rice adds a beautiful subtle flavor of mango tea that will add a little something extra to plain rice. It cooks up light and fluffy and is perfect for so many dishes that you’ll be ready to dig in…or extend your pinky.

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup rice of your choice (I used brown)
- 1 mango tea bag
Tools needed
- Saucepan
- Plastic/wooden spoon
Instructions
- Bring two cups of water to a boil over medium high heat.
- Add tea bag and steep for at least 5 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup rice and reduce to medium heat.
- When the tea had reduced to half, reduce the heat to low and cover with a lid.
- Keep a close eye and when the liquid is almost gone, check to see if the rice is done/fluffy. If it needs a few more minutes, add a few tablespoons of water (or make more tea to have waiting if needed.)
