Did you ever make something that you just didn’t want to share? This is that recipe for me. Once you begin picking at the ooey, gooey, sticky caramel and get the crunch of pecans through the pillowy bites of dough, you begin to contemplate how to make it your meals for the day.
“Well, this is obviously breakfast so that’s covered, another chunk could be second breakfast and the rest are leftovers for dinner…there…justified!” This recipe is dangerously delicious and if you’re bringing it to a gathering, you might as well make two as a matter of public safety or else you could have a riot on your hands for the last bits.

Ingredients
- 2 cans biscuits
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
- Zest of orange (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans to layer
Topping:
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
Tools needed
- Bundt pan
- Saucepan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a bundt pan.
- Cut up 2 cans of refrigerated biscuits into quarters and place in a freezer bag with sugar and spice and toss to coat.
- Rough chop 1/2 cup pecans.
- Layer biscuits and pecans in pan.
- In a sauce pan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, maple extract and milk over low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour over biscuits.
- Bake 35-40 minutes.
- Cool 5-10 min flip upside down onto platter and serve warm.
- If you're not serving until the next day, cover once the bread is cooled and microwave for 20-40 seconds.
