I know some people consider reservations and dinner out as a great way to spend Valentine’s Day…I’m not one of ’em. Restaurants jack up the prices, and they’re always crowded. For me, I’d rather make or have a homemade dinner made for me. Mr. Kringle says my food is way better than a restaurant and I’m here to give you some suggestions for my favorite meal combos! But first, don’t think if you’re not currently in a relationship that means you’re excluded! This day celebrates love! You can spread the love whether you cook for your parents or grandparents or invite that co-worker who always makes your day bearable over. Have a Galentine’s Day with your best friends and go one step further and decorate shoeboxes like they did when you (or your parents or grandparents) were kids and give each other store-bought Valentines that you open at the end of dinner! How fun would that be?!
Here’s a video if you prefer some tasty visuals with a slow jam beat.
Now let’s get to the food!
How to Grill the Perfect Steak
Caramelized Onion Twice Baked Potato
Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Honeyed Walnuts
Is comfort food your honey’s love language? Then this combo will show them the love. Eat early so you can sleep off the food coma for later activities. What? Binge watching Netflix. What were you thinking?!
Mr. Kringle’s Favorite Meatloaf
Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Roasted Chipotle Honey Carrots
How about something that looks and sounds pretty fancy but is super easy to make? I know I’m always down for that!
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Mango Tea Rice
Roasted Asparagus
Let’s not forget about dessert!
Raspberry Stripper Cookies
Easy Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies
Apple Galette
Your babycakes prefer brunch? I’ve gotcha covered!
Pesto Scrambled Eggs
Spicy Candied Bacon
Chipotle Home Fries
If they have a sweet tooth for brunchy stuff, then these are sure to please!
Apple Donuts with Maple Cider Glaze
Banana Bread French Toast
I hope I’ve given you some ideas on how to cook and bake your love for your someone special this Valentine’s Day. Wishing you all the love for being a part of my little corner of the internet!

I always have such a hard time planning our meal… there are so many wonderful food options out there! These are some great suggestions. This year I’m thinking of pot roast with roasted potatoes and green beans. But that could always change up until I get to the grocery store.
You are amazing. These recipes are all so delicious and like your husband says, better than a restaurant meal. Your video was great and professionally presented.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful meal sets for Valentine’s day.

Wonderful meal combination ideas! I have two nice steaks that I am going to use your “how to cook the perfect steak” tutorial for. Thank you for sharing on Party in Your PJ’s!
I hope you love the technique as much as I do! Gives me perfect juicy steak every time!
I tried the Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Honeyed Walnuts and it was out of this world! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Homestead Blog Hop!
YAY! So glad you liked it! It’s one of our favorites and I love the texture the walnuts lend to the sprouts!
