Muddy Buddies have been a party staple for a long time. Delectable combinations of flavorings coming together to make sweet or savory snacks you can’t put down and this mix is no exception. When it comes to holiday snacks, I’m indecisive. We love peppermint bark but we also love chocolate. Now I don’t have to choose because of this batch of deliciousness.
In addition to the chocolate covered cereal and peppermint bark cereal, I’ve added some coated chocolate candies and chocolate covered pretzels. So this has ALL of the chocolate and all of the crunch you could ask for! We had to get it out of the house. Seriously. I bagged it up and sent it to work and it went quickly. If you’re bringing it to a big party or holiday gathering, consider making a double batch because it’s that good. (Put a big ol’ spoon in the bowl to encourage people not to paw it.) The video shows you how to bring it all together and what the recipe should look like in different stages.

I just ate half a bag of Chex Mix Muddy Buddies yesterday afternoon.
I felt like this was just the forum to confess that.
We can start the Muddy Buddy recovery program January 1st. But first, cookie butter muddy buddies too. Never mind, there’s no hope for me. Save yourself.

Thanks so much!
I loved having a bowl of sweet Christmassy snacks like these around while having tea with friends; with social distancing, I’ll still make your muddy buddies and have them all to myself while wrapping presents. Yummy!
Now THAT sounds like a good idea! Enjoy!
This looks so festive and delicious!! Happy holidays! Thanks for sharing at Fiesta Friday party!
