We’ve reached crunch time in more ways than one. Now that we’re less than a week from Christmas, your baking gene might be exhausted, but you still want to spread holiday cheer with fun holiday snacks. The thought of seeing one more dough might send you into a twitching heap, and if you’re ready to raise the white flag on traditional treats, then this is your recipe!
I know, it’s embarrassing even calling this a recipe, but you should have this in your back pocket. Peppermint pretzel bites are super simple, and while they use your oven, there isn’t a dough to be found. Just three ingredients, enough heat to get a slight melt and a push of a candy. Heck, you don’t even have to do them, this is the perfect treat for the kiddos to do and given mama or dad a break! They’re the perfect party snack, or to pop when you’ve got the tree lit, and you can’t fit in another cookie. (Stop laughing.) So when someone says it’s crunch time, you can smile knowing that’s actually a good thing.
The video shows you how to bring it all together and what the recipe should look like in different stages.

I make a similar recipe but we call them Pretzel kisses and they have milk chocolate kisses. These are the most requested year-round snack my girls love.
Merry Christmas, my friend!
I’ve made them that way too! Using the caramel filled ones is also delish! We are peppermint bark freaks over here so that taste coupled with the crunch of pretzel and that M&M is like YES PLEASE! Merry, merry Christmas to you too sassy mama!
We’ve tried this with caramel/Rolo cookies or even chocolate kisses but never peppermint; YUM!
It’s a fun holiday twist!
This is a wonderful holiday classic recipe. One of my favorite things during the holidays is stuffing my face with as many treats as possible. Ha! I’m visiting from Friday Favorites Linky Party. I shared #59. Merry Christmas!
