Crinkle cookies are always a crowd pleaser. These crinkle cookies use a few ingredients you may already have on hand if you’re a baker. They are the perfect recipe to get the kiddies involved in making.
Not only do these cookies get better with time and stay super soft, they make great whoopee pies as well! Switch out the cake mix to make the flavor of your choice any time of year!

Ingredients
- 1 box red velvet cake mix (or cake mix flavor of your choice)
- 8 oz (227g) tub of whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add dry cake mix, whipped topping and egg. Mix to combine.
- Put powdered sugar in a small bowl.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, scoop dough and drop into powdered sugar.
- Coat the dough ball completely in powdered sugar then shake the excess off in the strainer and place onto lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes on the sheet before transferring to a wire baking rack to cool.
