Whether you call it church spread, Amish peanut butter spread or put that in my piehole spread, this is going to be the gift people are going to love you for this year. I’m sure they love whatever you give because you seem like a person that wouldn’t give bad gifts. Peanut butter is good on its own but when you add a bunch of sweet stuff to it and slather it all over bread, it’s even better.
Biscuits, bread, rolls, pancakes, waffles, ice cream, oatmeal, apples, bananas…it’s ALL fair game where this delight is concerned. There are different versions of this spread but this is the quickest to throw together and really, at the time of posting it’s the holidays so aren’t we all looking for something quick and easy that looks like it took way more time? So pick up some mason jars, maybe some cute washi tape for the easiest decoration ever and get ready to wow your neighbors, family, co-workers or whomever is lucky enough to be the recipient. (Even if that lucky person is yourself because let’s face it, you deserve it!)
The video shows you how to bring it all together and what the recipe should look like in different stages.

OMG you’re killing me with nostalgia! My grandma used to make something like this, maybe even this!! She used to spread it on graham crackers, and it was AMAZING.
THIS is my comfort food!
Aww, Grandma would approve of a cracker spread with this for sure! 😀

It would be perfect on ice cream, for sure!
I remember doing something like this as a kid – except we used maple syrup instead of corn syrup!
Awesome!! That would be delicious as well!
I’ve had “Amish peanut butter” 100 times but didn’t realize it was THIS! Thanks for sharing!
